Born into the Jakal family during the great war, Falconous found life hard, even for the honored position of eldest son of the Supreme Shogun. Growing up in a time of war, Falconous found early that he had the ability to use psionics, which enabled him to become a formidable warrior at the very young age of 15. on the eve of his 22nd birthday, Falconous received news that the cruiser his father and mother were traveling on for peace negotiations, was attacked and destroyed with no survivors. The leading military commanders immediatly suggested a retaliatory strike against the offenders with the full might of the Shogunate military, only to have all hands go down with the ships.

Since the age of 6, Falconous had a friend, teacher and mentor in the form of an bio-andriod commissioned by his father from the Vector Industries. The bio-android, named Balanna, taught Falconous nearly all he knows of all aspects of life, combat, logistics and governing. The day that his father died, Balanna came to Falconous and expressed her desire to explore other life outside the Galactic Shogunate realm. Falconous thought long and hard on the situation and in the end made a pact with Balanna, on the day of his 32nd birthday, he would release her of all her duties to pursue her life's quests. That day came to pass, and Falconous honored that pact and bestowed on her a small corvette for travel, supplies for her and the ship, as well as an imperial pass that grants her the top-most clearance in the Shogunate empire.

Prematurely thrust into the mantle of leadership of the nearly 1 million inhabitants of his home world Tagnus, Falconous quickly changed the way of life of his peoples. He began to increase mining activities and exploring suitable mining deposits on the other bodies in the solar system. Construction began on a trade port and orbital shipyard high above the Tagnus surface. Specialized schools were erected to train in the ways of space travel and combat to allow non-samurai to serve on the future spacecraft.

With the launching of their first new warship, the heavy battle cruiser, GSS Vengance, the Galactic Shogunate's presence in the galaxy once again began to become a formidable one.

With the discovery of deuterium fuel on one of the planets in the system, Falconous had to begin construction on a second space station and orbital shipyard, this time both for trade and much smaller than the first. Due to be completed within the year, it will bring great wealth to the empire, along with more workers and more trouble.
